Often you want to share a screenshot or picture you took, present your entry for a contest, or report a violator. What is the best way to do that?

Well, it is best not to upload images on the forum, as the amount of storage per player on the forum is limited. Instead, you can upload the image on a 3rd party platform, where the storage is almost unlimited. You will then post the link to the uploaded image in the message.

Now, the platform you upload the image to will usually provide a link to the image. But what if it does not provide a link or you simply can’t find it? Here are a few ways you can obtain it.

Instructions for different browsers on how to copy an image's URL

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Right-click on the image.
  2. Choose 'Copy image location' from the menu.

Internet Explorer

  1. Right-click on the image.
  2. Select 'Properties' from the menu.
  3. Highlight the address appearing under 'Address (URL)'.
  4. Press Ctrl-C, or Right-click->Copy.

Google Chrome

  1. Right-click on the image.
  2. Choose 'Copy image Address' from the menu.

Safari and Opera

  1. Right-click on the image.
  2. Select 'Copy image address' from the menu.

Note: Make sure the link you copy ends with the extension of the image in order for the forum to properly read it (examples: .jpg, .png, etc.)

Posting the image on the Forum

  1. Enter a forum post you want
  2. Click the right mouse button and then click Paste to insert the previously copied URL.
  3. Submit topic/reply

Tip: If you’re image is uploaded on Social Media, you can Right-Click on it and copy the address.
